in Egypt, you have to be clean shaven when you’re in the army, for me it meant going back to looking like someone that does not feel like me

I wanted to capture how i was feeling then, so I directed and performed an intimate performance of what it felt like to take away my hair, on the bigger scale how it felt like to have my freedom taken away from me
